France

Hi Everyone,

Just thought I'd drop you a quick note to tell you how nice these French lands are. We have been here for a few weeks now - came on a ferry but didn't get to see anymore than the car boot. That was the boring bit.

We camped in a few different places and now are staying in a fantastic place called "Pete's House" in Lascabanes. Andy lets us wander around and do whatever we like (although Lottie is a bit of a wimp and usually stays by the house then just follows Andy around). We have been playing football in the field and swimming in le lac. It's just great!

Instructions for cleaning the toilet

It's been a great weekend. Rosie and Jez have both been to visit.

I have stolen this from Rosie's friend Alex - hope he doesn't mind.

1. Lift the lid on the toilet and fill it with 1/8 cup of animal shampoo.

2. Take the cat in your arms and stroke it gently while slowly moving in the direction of the toilet.

3. At a suitable moment, throw the cat into the toilet bowl and close the lid quickly and either stand or sit on the lid.

4. The cat will now start the cleaning process and will generate plenty of foam. Do not be concerned about the loud noises coming from the toilet; your cat is enjoying himself.

5. After several minutes flush the toilet to start the Power-wash pre-wash and then flush again for the main wash cycle.

6. Ask someone to open the front door and ensure that no-one is between the toilet and the front door.

7. Get off the toilet seat and from a safe distance open the toilet lid quickly. The cat will dry off naturally due to the high speed he will be moving from the toilet to the front door.

8. The toilet and the cat are now both clean.

With best wishes,
Peggy-Sue (The Dog)

Getting To Grips with Computers

Since my big sister messed up her blog and managed to steel my identity she has fixed her own but left me with no profile :(

I have tried to fix my side bar to let my readers know who I am. Andy wanted to send an e-mail and as Top Dog he gets priority access to the computer so I didn't have long enough on the computer to tidy it up properly.

Happy Christmas!

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while. I've not been very well recently. Have been very thirsty and weeing a lot. I was taken to see a nice new vet who put a device over my nose so I couldn't defend myself then stuck a horrible sharp needle in me. He needed my blood for some tests. He managed to rule out diabetes or Addison's disease but it appears that I have rather poorly kidneys. Also, in keeping with numerous other members of my family, I have inherited hypothyroidism.

But enough of that, I am feeling quite spritely at the moment and have enjoyed Christmas. My friends gave me some fun new toys (although Lottie keeps stealing them) and yummy treats (special fishy ones that are good for me). The rest of the family had fun too. I was quite dissapointed that the turkey didn't get thrown onto the carpet like last year though.

Happy New Year!

Hello Readers,

I know it's a bit late to be wishing you a Happy New Year, but I'm afraid since Rosie left home I have struggled to find people willing to help me to update it. It isn't that I'm not a clever enough dog to use a computer properly, it's just that we don't have a dog-friendly keyboard and typing is quite tricky with paws.

Amy requested that I update my blog, so here you go.

I have added some photos from Christmas and New Year. Christmas was lovely because Rosie and Joe were both home to play with me. Was very disappointed that I was shut away outside when grandma threw the turkey down the stairs though! After Christmas, Jane and Andy took us to the Lake District. That was fun, although they were a bit lazy and didn't take us up mountains every day.

I've got lodgers

Now it's not only Lottie who I have to share my house with!
