Grace's visit & horrid bangs

My friend Grace came to visit last weekend. I used not to like Grace very much, because once she arrived at Andy's work people started to fuss her as well as me. But I've decided jealousy is a poor virtue, and found that she's actually quite good fun.

Here's a photo of Grace & I, when Rosie took us for a walk on Norland Moor:

The horrid bangs haven't got any better since my last post - in fact, it's been worse. They've sent me into such a state that I've started feeling terrible all the time, not just when they're happening. It got so bad that I couldn't eat anything for 2 whole days - not even my gravy bones. Of course, this made my humans very worried & they took me off to that place I hate going to - the vets. I hate the poking & prodding I get everytime I go there, but when I try to tell them to stop they put this thing around my head - think it's called a mussel - & keep on doing it. The vet's given me some medicine (Andy thinks I don't know I'm taking it, because he hides it in cheese - but I'm not that stupid!) and I think it's helping me a bit. I did enjoy my dinner last night - Jane cooked some proper human food for me :)

I hate this time of year

Tonight Rosie took me with her to walk grandma home after dinner. We almost made it, but then there were some of those horrid loud bangs and flashes that keep happening at the moment. They were really close & in the direction we were heading. It was very scary. Rosie didn't seem to understand how bad it was so I had to pull incredibly hard to drag her back home to safety.

Reply To Winston

Hi Winston

In reply to your comment on my earlier post:

No, Andy is not a bird - he's a man (at least I think he is, he does some very strange things sometimes that would suggest otherwise). Jane sent him on a gliding lesson for his birthday present.

This is Andy & the boys (Matthew, James & Andrew):

Recognise them?

As for Jeremy Woolf; as I've said before, he's my best friend. He's not really a woolf, just looks like one (something to do with his big ears).

It's My Birthday!

I'm 10 today!!

Lots of Fuss

Today has been fantastic. This morning we had 2 visitors - both of them pretended they wanted to talk to Jane, but it was obvious it was me who they came to see really.

This afternoon I was taken to visit Terri. Got very excited because I love going to see her, always get tons of attention. I was, understandably - I'm sure you'll agree, upset to realise when the door opened that she already had a dog there. I know it's not right to be jealous, but it's very difficult not to be sometimes.
